  2.  @lucasthemycologist  1. There are records that are publicly visible containing every resource that has ever been mined, collected, refined, and used anywhere. If something came into existence seemingly out of nowhere, it would be found out. 2. Those people lower down still do some very important things that rely heavily on the fact that the Earth is not in fact flat, and if it were almost every piece of navigational tech would be entirely broken. 3. If they’re doing so well at keeping it secret, the only people currently capable of stopping them are the flat earthers. Everyone else is supposedly too brainwashed to do anything, and I’m sure it would be much easier for them to come up with some excuse than to keep up this battle of misinformation.
