In the case of any one of the people, they would think to themselves “If the others saw anyone without green eyes they would have left, knowing that they were one of the 99. Nobody did, so they must have seen that I had green eyes” and they would all leave on the second night. Wait no he said that

  3. Here's a question: The hotel has a countably infinite number of rooms. If you have an infinite number of infinite buses, you can assign each bus a natural number and each occupant of each bus a decimal, so that each occupant has a unique real number assigned to them from the sum of their number and their bus's number. This is an uncountable infinity, but for some reason the hotel manager is able to fit all of the people into his countable infinity of rooms. This doesn't make sense to me, am I looking at it wrong? Otherwise, is there someone who can explain it to me?
