While it's important to point out the problems, it's even more important that each and every one of us has the power to do our part to change things. For my part, for nearly 2 decades I've been deep in development on an OS for Creators. I'm not building it atop web tech, but from the ground up (many megs of C). If my bet is correct, it could be a massive game changer not just for how content is created and distributed, but for how software is developed, in general. However.... Those who're interested in this platform are nearly 100% white males. It's going to be a tough task getting Black folks to take it seriously... until white folks accept it. (I've had this same issue backinnaday (1990's) when trying to get our folks interested in CG) This means that white folks will be the greatest beneficiaries when this takes off. But when this platform is ready to roll, I do intend to make a push to get as many our folks on it as possible. We'll see..........
