Neither you nor I know the real deal of why France chose not to work with the U.S., U.K., and Australia. However, very likely they felt it was in their best interests to do so, as it is the others' best interests to do the same. So, painting one side or the other as a victim is naive and myopic.

@gluty20GamerElite That's not what I was referring to: the U.S. objectives with regards to China. But, on that front, I could speculate a connection between the two items as they do in the media and as one does in comments sections where expertise is abound, but I won't.
