  2. While I LOVE flight, it isn't the only way. I'm a big fan of the idea of electric cruise ships and high speed rail lines. Sure, it wouldn't be AS fast, but think of the upside: more scenery (which is less impacted by pollution), likely better food options, more space to move around during the trip, and depending on the route, the possible chance to visit more places along the way. Sure, you could have express lines for those in a hurry, but you could also have less expensive ticketing for people who aren't on quite as tight a schedule, just as with air travel today. Oh, and electrically powered air ships, PLEASE!!!!!!
