  1. I live in coyote country (and mountain lion country) and have both cats and peafowl (peacocks and peahens). Gotta say, I respect them, but don't hate them. Oh, and I grew up on Looney Tunes and plenty of books, some of which were Mark Twain. Just goes to show, the hate isn't guaranteed. My neighbor's retriever that scared off my beloved peahen (who never returned, RIP Raja) was following HIS instincts, if I don't hate him, how could I hate coyotes, who haven't ever bothered us? Nature is gonna nature.
