  3. 8:38 Get quail instead. They are smaller, quieter, need less space, and their eggs have even more nutrients than chicken eggs by volume. They lay eggs daily like chickens and they are able to be kept in MUCH smaller enclosures happily. It still doesn't prevent bird flu problems, but you can keep them indoors more easily, which could help isolate them from infection.
