  1. This is FASCINATING! I love the look of my salt lamp, but I never bought the ion healing aspect. It's very pretty and creates a nice ambience. The idea of using tourmaline, and that tourmaline produces ions with only a 5° (celsius, presumably, so @ 9° F) temperature increase is REALLY interesting. I have some largish chunks of black tourmaline. I'm thinking of putting a few on one of those coffee warming electric coasters, and observe whether my kids are less/ more/ or the same level of cranky....
