  1. Fun fact: Youngkin cannot run for consecutive terms. The founders of Virginia were worried that the governor would try and make themselves into a pseudo monarch, so they wrote into the Commonwealth charter that the governor cannot succeed themselves in office. There technically isn't a term limit, but this rule effectively means the governor usually doesn't serve more than one term, very occasionally two.

  2. Youngkin is a snake. I live in Virginia. He isn't particularly quiet about stuff, but he's not quite loud enough about the quiet parts to get national notice very often.
