  1. There is a reason why supermarkets are so intense about marketing: the average profit of a supermarket rarely tops 2%. In fact, these marketing ploys often mean the difference between success and failure fir supermarkets. I'm NOT a free capitalist. I think it's reprehensible that supermarkets need to be so wily in order to survive. Food, Water, Housing, Clothing, Health Care: these specific industries should be socialized.
