Also, for the like last 300 years only Granada was left but as a tributary of Castile.

  6. @AstoraKnight1  No one credits him as instrumental to the Reconquista lol, He's famous because the first literature work in Castilian (Spanish) language is Cantar de Mio Cid which narrates his epic life as a mercenary knight, including the time he fought for Muslim kings and the time he conquered a city and tried to set up his own kingdom.
