I like that everything is like "well done", like the school is complete with all equipment, the train station is all open. My town is this size and everything is half done, the school (which anyway, it's closed now, but back when it was open) it only had two classrooms, no equipment whatsoever, we don't even have road signs or our own town hall, or any sort of community center, other than the church council, and that is a very old and cold building. There are no shops whatsoever anymore neither since there are no buses or anything.
I really appreciate that Japan cares for everyone even the small villages get the basics and are not abandoned like most countries.

I hate how people thinks that Catalonia, Galicia or the Basque Country are unique to the rest of Spain, Spain is a multicultural country, there's no "Spanish culture", there's Andalusians, Asturians, Leonese, Castillians, Basques, Galicians, Aragonese, Valencian, Catalan and Estremaduran cultures, so it is quite unrealistic that only those 3 "chosen" regions would get independence and Spain stay united, it would be either total collapse or total union.

The referendum lacked basic security and didn't met the standards of a vote, there were cases like dead people voting, ballots being placed in the street without any surveillance... As a Spaniard, I think that if the majority wants to leave they should be able, but first they should be educated correctly about the history of Catalonia and the consequences of Independence, there's a lot of propaganda running in Catalonia, there was a report of some Catalan parents that complained about what they teached at History class some years ago, there's also propaganda of the Spanish right‐wing saying things like if you go to Catalonia and speak Spanish they'll beat you up, it's a lie, Catalans have no problem speaking Spanish if needed, this is used mainly to escandalize and put the population against other regionalism, this argument was used in the debate about the oficialization of the Asturian language, right-wing parties said that the language would be forced upon the people who didn't speak it "like in Catalonia", people should be infomed with no propaganda to make their decision freely.
