  1. I own a business. $15/hr isn't much if you consider people have money to spend. $200,000/hr politicians do nothing for the economy. Besides, I'm tired of paying for people to be on welfare --- people who are working 40-55 hrs a week. It'd be nice if they weren't on welfare because their bosses paid them a living wage.

  5. Everything has gone up while minimum wage remained stagnant. So this argument is pointless. Maybe everything went up because CEO salaries jumped 1000% since '78.
