  7. I didn't know much about Putin so I went and watched a couple of videos of him talking to the public and the press. When he talks, you just know he's a powerful person, in a fearful - yet respectable way. American politicians look like muddied kindergarteners next to this guy.

I dated a guy who asked me how my day was and what I did every single day, even though I told him my life was mundane and wanted him to stop precluding every interaction with the same questions. Keep in mind that same sex marriage wasn't legalized in the US until 2015 and we've been the world power for over 200 years. Also, the Middle East isn't a shithole. Sure, the war torn countries are, but there are countries like Dubai, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, that are quite wealthy and doing very well. Yes, there are human rights issues there, but they require local effort and a changing culture. Getting mad at a complete stranger in the comments section doesn't help your case.

I'm surprised you didn't cover any grounds on non-constructive, personal insults. That's where most folks fail at. I've only seen two Youtubers who legitimately knew how to shut those down.

  20. Carl H lol yeah. TSOL is more about explaining why people are the way they are. CC is about understanding traits and how that effects interpersonal relationships. CC is a lot more fun to watch though. I don't know why. And I like how I can test some of the stuff out in real life.

  21. 3xitthissid3 the OP was asking about asking a girl out in college and dealing with having to see her on a constant basis. and that's what my guy friend did. he didn't harass her. he kept his cool and made it playful or something. my friend isn't the best looking dude on the lot either, but the way he handled rejection helped him appear more attractive. also, he's not a creeper. lol. he's the type who doesn't take life too seriously. if you're creepy, then yeah, it might come off as harassment. so, can't help you there.

  39. Kris M I've been in the same situation. But I found out the reason why I couldn't get through was because I was arguing from my emotional point of view. And some people are jackasses and some will not respect your point of view if you appear emotional. People will shut you down because they will always believe the voice in their head before they hear yours. That's why there are so many comments saying that this video is wrong or offensive. Those who found this out on their own accord (me) or those who want to be better communicators, will find this video helpful and applicable.
