  6. That may be the case in the UK, but in the US, we don’t have a national language. English and Spanish are the two most spoken language — so he would have gotten by without having to learn English. Whereas in Canada, it’s English and French, where it would have been nice, but not helpful, based on immigration/asylum seeking laws.

  11. I know it's a Republican bill, but Democrats deserve their share of the blame as well. I have seen way too many townhall meetings where Democrat leaders flat out refuse to support a single payer healthcare bill because they want their corporate buddies to profit off sick and dying Americans.

  31. Bernie is much more capitalistic than what you guys think. In Vermont, he passed laws that helped small businesses thrive. Also, he never once stated that corporations should be owned by the government. He said everyone needs to pay their fair share of taxes. If a large corporation is making billions in profit but pays no taxes, or less taxes than someone who makes about $30k - $50k, wouldn't that piss you off? By supporting this sort of system, you are actually feeding into true socialism. Socialism of the elite, where the poor takes care of the rich.
