Someone ? yeah. even though they already pay the least amount of their income on taxes, let’s continue to reward them with even lower taxes. we should be increasing taxes on the middle class like these guys suggested.

it’s so funny how these guys propose having more jobs, etc. well, tax rates are at the lowest under Trump’s administration. why are people still poor? it obviously isn’t working.
6
rich investors? lol but hiking tax rates on middle class is okay? that’s what these guys were suggesting. maybe you want to fork the 70% tax rate while your decamillionaire and billionaire buddies sip champagne. i always love it when poor people volunteer to pay more taxes.

David Gill no. it doesn’t change my mind. if i was in a room with three people and i owned 99% of the wealth. of course, when i pay taxes, my amount is going to be much more than theirs. they could pay a 100% tax rate and i’d still have the most amount towards taxes with my 10% tax rate. but they would be starving and committing petty crimes to survive while i’m sipping vintage at my fourth mansion on a private island i own.
4
yeah she is stupid. why hike taxes on the super rich when you can hike taxes on the middle class? especially people like Emmanuel Sengo who wants to pay 70% of his income on taxes.

misidee Wall Street isnt that desperate. Bernie Sanders has been railing at Wall Street for years and not once have they invited him to speak.
2
i dont know man. after that first guy suggested people making $250k-$300k pay the 70% tax rate instead of people making over $10 million, AOC doesnt sound too bad now.
2
hah. not that easy.
2
looks like you skipped your ADHD meds.
2
the multimillionaires and billionaires pay a significantly lower tax rate than the middle class. these guys were proposing implementing that tax rate to people who make $250k-$300k, the same group of people who already pay the most taxes out of any tax bracket and they want these folks to pay 70%? they make AOC sound like an angel.
2
the rich cant hide their money unless theyre operating in the black market or move their business and themselves completely overseas into a different market. most decamillionaires are paid by US employers or make money off the US market, so theres no way they can hide those earnings from the IRS without consequences.

i hate your idea. mainly because i love write offs.
1
why are you talking about socialism when this video is about taxes. lol. nobody cares about venezuela. there are no sanctions on the US.
1
this is the only comment i actually agree with. lol
1
they did have a counter point: the middle class should be paying the 70% tax rate.
1
Ann Linley that’s right. nobody is entitled to their wealth. that’s why, as the first guy suggested, the middle class should be paying the 70% tax rate, not the rich. hope you make less than $10 million. i know you must be jumping with joy to pay those taxes.
1
why does the first guy want the 70% marginal tax at $250k. he’s more radical than AOC, who wants it at $10 million.
1
Sun there’s no escaping taxes.
1
taxation isn’t a hindrance. the only people complaining are welfare recipients and super rich right wingers who want to trick the poor and middle class into becoming poorer.
1
falloutshelter95 😆
1
not really. most of our progress and innovation involved government funding of some sort.
1
because a lot of poor and middle class people want to pay 70% of their income on taxes. they will do anything to protect the super rich.
1
DXFXmc lmao. another broke ass who knows nothing about the tax system. obviously, you have no yacht. no rich person would get on their yacht to avoid paying taxes because they know they still gotta pay taxes.
1
well, according to these guys, the middle class should be footing the 70% tax rate. im surprised at how many people are willing to pay that much in taxes just so their decamillionaire and billionaire friends can play golf on a private island and enjoy their private yachts.
