  1. agree. i know there is overtourism so i avoid traveling during peak seasons and i avoid airbnbs. but attacking tourists isnt the right approach. this is something their government has to handle.

  2. not everyone is an influencer. most tourists just like taking photos of themselves to show to family and friends back home. that hasnt changed. a lot of the touristy spots (like venice) are spots where cruise ships stop at and offer group day trips. a regular cruise ship may dump around 2,000 -7,000 people at once for a few hours. and there are multiple ships that dock at the port, so multiply that by 3 or 4 every few hours. ur looking at tens of thousands of foot traffick on a daily basis. that affects local businesses to cater more towards tourists.
