  2. Democrats have always been labeled as socialists by Republicans. Republicans are also socialists for passing laws that control what people can/can’t do. so theoretically, all politicians are socialists, not just Bernie. what gives Bernie a chance of winning is that he has a consistent record of being on the right side of history and his ideas aren’t anything new. every industrialized country already has what he wants for America. back in 2016, people criticized his ideas for being pie-in-the-sky, but now, we see his ideas being implemented on a national level. states have passed new minimum wage laws, corporations have given their employees pay raises, public universities have implemented free tuition programs, states have passed laws legalizing medical marijuana. and with the recent college admissions scandal, it’s proven Bernie right about the wealthy having an entirely different set of rules. this guy has receipts.
