  1. The real question is why haven‘t we switched to Base 12. (: You can divide 10 in half only once to result in an integer, but 12 can be divided twice. 10 cannot be divided in three to form an interger, but 12 can. 10 cannot be divide in four to form an integer, but 12 can. And 10 cannot be divided by 6 to form an integer, but 12 can. Of course, only elementary school kids would appreciate this. (:
