@j: If you want it locally, it’s going to cost even more. OTOH, locally grown food is often grown to be healthier than cheap food. The more you cook at home, the better your food will be! (:

Plenty of people who can’t make a sandwich and prefer to complain.

With an air fryer, I toss in ground meat and bacon, cook for awhile, flip the meat, then add cheese and mushrooms. Fattilicious! :D

Yep. The husband also had a stroke. Better to sell out for as much as possible, because the medical bills and any help can become very expensive.

@f: Inflation and prices skyrocketed under the current administration. Inflation hurts the lower income folks the most, but the current administration knows they won’t know their own government is to blame.

@k: Lazyddiction. You can make a sandwich instead of playing the victim.

Not to mention the rotisserie chicken! Pick it up after work, though. (:

Air fryer or brown bag it from home. Inflation under the current adminstration hit grocery stores, and, while restaurants, including fast food, tried keeping market share, they absorbed rising costs. No more.

The irony is that this owner gets free publicity by NOT giving in to “influencers”! (: Don‘t give in!

Exactly. Trader Joe’s, Costco, and the grocery store have plenty of frozen food you can just toss into the air fryer. Set the timer, check every five minutes. Eat! :D

Wall Street Journal article found that speed traps caught criminals with records. The psychology is that if someone disobeys a “major” law, then they will disobey a “minor” one. Adams has also rolled out an anti-gun team, which replaces plainsclothesmen. Gun control laws only work when enforced, and I‘m happy that Adams is enforcing laws rather than appeasing criminals.

Residents leaving NY caused NY to lose a House seat, and two seats flipped from blue to red (and red kept two) during the 2022 elections, contributing to the slim Republican majority in the House. If the left continues to be soft on crime (not to mention inflation continuing and the recession landing hard), well, 2024 elections are a year and a half away.
