  1. Well, not USA attention. USA paid little attention to Serbia during the Clinton years, until the media made a big deal about some Americans who were killed there. USA thinks NATO and Europe aren’t doing enough, and I doubt USA will do much for Serbia — or at least Serbia and Europe should not expect USA to do as much as its doing for Ukraine.

  3. Let’s hope that USA base holds. With USA pulling out of the ME, support for Ukraine waning, and the USA economy in pessimistic shape, I wouldn’t count on the USA to do the work. ):

  4. Yahbut NATO doesn’t do more than write stern letters, even during a war. Well, we’ll see soon enough if they’re actually effective. :/

  6. @j: I’ll just add that, with the decreasing support of Ukraine and USA foreign intervention in general (we pulled out of the ME and nobody here cares), NATO better grow a pair and Europe needs to protect Europe. If anyone remembers the Clinton years when Serbia was attacked, the USA even then did not care until Americans were killed. Media coverage was certainly minimal.
