Very much this. Many trades are useful around the house, saving you money with both DIY and familiarity with “how it’s done”. Not that it’s easy to run your own business, but you can do that more easily as a trade, than even a white-collar job.

@h: Fast food places don’t have to run at all hours, and 24/7 businesses could always reduce hours to stay in business. Non-fast food restaurants already have lunch and dinner hours, closing between those time periods.

There’re some arguments for single-payer health care, but it’s outside the scope of this video and not about large corporations.

Yep. Supply chain issues from Covid and the current administration have led to inflation, resulting in shrinkflation and various forms of cost-cutting, including, I’m sure, lower quality of food.
