  1. Late comment, but before the Qin dynasty, China was seven kingdoms, and the Qin dynasty “unified” them militarily. In other words, if you use history to claim a territory, for China, you would go back even further to the warring states. China has a very long history, and there were plenty of times when there was no such thing as “One China”.
