  2. And not the first time Russia has shown its inadequate air defense. In a previous strike, Russia pulled back its air defense to Moscow, only for Ukraine to strike logistics targets elsewhere. Russia even shot down one of its own fighters with its own air defense during that attack. Note that Russia cannot replace their fighters (or will take a long time to repair them) because of military sanctions.
