  1. Haven‘t heard of him. Bakhmut would have been an even bigger propaganda deal if it was taken earlier. Plus, lots of Russian soldiers dead. Putin would have sent them to yet another city for propaganda purposes. Finally, imo, it‘s the West which has prevented Ukraine from ending this war, and Russia knows it.
