  2. Yahbut not everyone wants an AI car. China’s real problem is that their “Made in China” reputation (which is well-deserved) extends to its cars as well. Nobody, at least in the west, buys Chinese cars, because of China’s reputation for unreliable, throwaway, goods. BTW, Even if Tesla’s cars (and Apple’s iPhones) are “Made in China”, at least the branding should mean some level of safety and reliability. And even with that said, Tesla (and Apple) sales are declining with the worldwide recession making their own impacts on China.
