  1. What a waste of resouces. Each taxpayer should only receive a credit, that can be applied towards next year‘s taxes or refunded if they were expecting a refund. Anyone who didn’t file receives services from California (anything from schools to roads) anyway, so put their money in the General Fund. California now has a 25 million DEFICIT and will just take that money back in taxes, anyway.

  2. @Brian An It’s caused by building in less and less safe areas over time. Why people are surprised when there’s a fire in a fire zone, or flooding in a flood zone is beyond me.

  4. Every time there’s a flood or wildfire, the same areas get hit. So far, nobody’s noticed. Don’t blame human folly on the climate.
