  1. So far, robots have only been able to work in “safe” environments, such as office campuses (eg. Google‘s drones), hospitals (Stanford’s prescription drug robot), warehouses (eg. Amazon‘s robots), etc. Where there are security issues (or humans, such as the self-driving cars in SF, whose sensors were defeated by traffic cones placed by those who were opposed to the cars), robots can — so far — be defeated. I still wouldn’t mind a Johnnycab. :D
