  1. “About” to start a trade war? China’s dumping of pretty much everything for the last who-knows-how-many years shows they’ve been at war since forever. Of course, “fair trade” is anything but a norm, and USA has its share of subsidies and protectionism. Some I agree with, but protective tariffs on sugar to protect USA businesses from South American countries has resulted in the use of high-fructose corn syrup over sugar, causing high obesity rates. I’m pretty sure sugar isn’t a national security issue or technology that we don’t want copied by the CCP.
