Then dropped it off at a place that would help them. A repair shop ran by a blind right-winger. The kind of place that would want to share the information and ALSO couldn't confirm who dropped it off. Furthermore, right wing media refused to let people look at the data and it also magically disappears when Republicans need it to. But who know and who cares? Hunter is a private citizen.
