  1. America First is not an invention of Trump. It existed long before Trump. After the first gulf war in Kuwait against Iraq in 1990, it was time to share all the reconstruction contracts in Kuwait. America take most of the contracts, leaving few peanuts to France and other EU countries. So when the second war against Iraq in 2003 came, France and some other EU nations did not join the coalition because US was too greedy. Now US is wooing EU to join US in anti China coalition, EU is not that stupid. What will happen if really China collapse like USSR, which country will be the next big enemy of US. India is too poor and hopeless to be a real competitor for US. It can only be EU.
