  5. In the name of nuclear war threat with USSR, the US tested nuclear radiation for experimenta on a whole population of Pacific islanders in the 1950s to see the effects. It was a colossal human cost. Now think of 350 US military bases in Japan, Korea, Philippines and Australia surrounding China. For its national security, China militarize some disputed islands. My point is what cost Pinoy fishermen may have endured compared to the Pacific islanders.
