  1. ALL started with Obama military pivot to Asia Pacific in 2011. That was 2 years before Xi Jingping came to power. Xi Jinping responded by militarizing the disputed islands in SCS. This is the least that China should do to protect itself against Obama pivot and the 350 US military bases in Japan, Korea, Philippines and Australia. So what the big deal if a hundred Pinoy fishermen are denied access. National security of 1,4 billion Chinese is more important than these fishermen jobs. If it is OK for US in 1950s to sacrifice 10,000 islanders in the Pacific on a nuclear experiment for the national security of US against possible nuclear war with USSR, then why these Pinoy fishermen are whinning. At least these fishermen are not dying of cancer like these 10000 islanders
