  48. This remind me of Deng Xiaoping visit to US in 1979. Soon after that visit China invaded Communist Vietnam. China was then rewarded by US. The remaining parts of trade embargo imposed by US after Korean war were then completely lifted. China was then treated as a NORMAL trade partner which India enjoyed since 1947. Through this NORMAL relationship, China knew how to attract Western investments. There was no privilege. Its just that China is more attractive than the rest of third world to make money. So what is happening now with Modi and US. Modi want privilege. He want Biden to pass a law forcing companies like Tesla invest in India... What will US obtain in exchange from India. Will India capable to fight a war with China like Chiba did to Vietnam in 1979. Or will India fool Americans again with their hand combats with Chinese soldiers
