  1. Thats why I say India will not improve ties with China even if China make some territorial concessions. Because on the flip side, India will be punished by US. The US with fund and support rebellion and separatists in India. Losing Punjab, North East will be more consequential than these mountains of the Himalayas.

US will fund and support rebellion and separatists groups in North East, Punjab and many more. The territories at stake in thes3 regions are more important in value and area than the Himalayan mountains. So Modi will keep relation tense and privately will tell Xi Jinping to stage hand combats in the border onky to fool the Americans
