In return for being anti Soviet, China benefit from the lifting of economic embargo 1950-1972. China regain its normal trade status with US. The rest is dictated by market forces. India is playing same game today. But what is she expecting. India was already a normal trade partner with US since 1947

  2. As long as India give hope to US that she can be used as a Ukraine, then the Americans will praise India as "vibrant democracy". If India improve ties with China, then US, CIA will support and fund all freedom fighters in India.
