  6. If I am a protestor I I would be more scared of 10 policemen with guns who can shoot at all directions ( like always happen in US) vertical or horizontal angles than 10 slow moving tanks. The tank as seen in the video don't run over the protestor. By logic, this should be a non event, but Western media is so creative to make it a propaganda point. At that time Chinese Policemen were not equipped with Riot gear, body shields, tear gas. They don't also have armored vehicles. Indeed armored police vehicles are more maneuverable and faster than tanks to scare protestors.
