  1. The reality in a so called "Democracy" is that the government leaders have to protect their cronies who helped them obtain votes and power. A piece of land for X, government jobs for Y and Z because X, Y, Z have worked hard during the electoral campaign. Meritocracy is disregarded. So what happen next is the so called democracy FAILED and the leaders become "dictators" to stay in power. All African "dictators" are like that, result of FAILED democracies. Democracy in Africa is a guaranteed FAILURE
