At that time all China first tier cities already had awesome infrastructure. High speed rail was already a reality and China had already sent men in space several times already. Even back in 1993 when China GDP was only 0,5 Trillion, China bid the Olympics 2000 organization and was very confident to be able to organize something great. India with its $3,75 trillion GDP today has none of the above attributes.

  7. Really. India gdp is said to be actually 3,75 trillion roughly same as China had in 2008. On that year China organized the Olympic games, the first tiers cities already had awesome infrastructure, high speed rail was already a reality, they sent me in space several times. Sorry to say that though India pretend to have a 3,75 trillion economy today. India has none of the above attributes

They don't need to make fake figures for Propaganda purpose like Modi. People in China judge their government by comparing their standard of living and those of their surroundings to the past. That's it. No need for CPC to chesthumpting about figures like BJP party. Talking about propaganda. Do you think Xi Jingping would ever take a ride on Shenzhou to Tiangong space station. But Modi did it on Tejas 3rd Gen fighter jet for Propaganda purpose to impress Indian voters. Of course he impressed nobody outside India

People in China are happy when their living standards and those of their surroundings improve. That's all. No need for fake figures like in "democratic" countries by government in order to win reelection
