  2. India don't have what China have. A formidable opposition party which force the government to perform. Since US involvement in Tiananmen incidents, the CPC government knows they should perform their best to survive. In India the Modi government or any former government don't have that pressure to succeed. Seriously, the best opposition party in the world is the USA.
