@luism2125 you underestimated your own immune system. Sure don't eat/drink it but on the outside it is not different from walking outside in the rain. your skin is very good with things like that.

@mfaizsyahmi the easiest part can be done with in a 2 or 3 year span. make it 5 to get a okay starting point. Don't forget even here in the Netherlands most proper measures have been implied with in my own lifetime. (I am only just week shy of 33) The thing is when the okay network exist start planning to improve the system whenever a street or part has to be maintained. look on how to improve. that is how we have done.

@k.g.b.1150 You can exercise that right up to the point that said right clashes with the rights of others. In that case what right is more fundamental? Like in your case. No one disallows you to travel that is your right. However that right only state that you can travel. The strictest definition of that is that you can walk anywhere your legs can carry you In no place does that right or any cover a tool. The more if the tool you use for exercising your right is harming others. As the right to safety is a much fundamentally right then to use a tool.

for me living in a very small remote part of the Netherlands where a bus is a novelty. going to a city that has a tram and metro system like Rotterdam/Amsterdam has is by it self a novelty.

@gargoyle7863 to realise that here even the most conservative parties will do its utmost best to have a good cyclist network. If only because they are cheap. plus also them and their children will use them. Also every car they can get off the street will give them more room to drive faster.

@jochenklausberger9076 If you would have had them. Trams do have the benefit that you also can look out of them and are often at or near the street level to enjoy the surrounding. the tube system is ether below ground or a bit away from everything. as a tourist even if the tube still is a attraction in it self. I like to see the surroundings and get a first impression by just going around.

@TrevorKeenAnimation the old Routemaster busses in London are only used as museum pieces. however they still use modern version double decker busses. The tube stations nowadays are much better. they are much less grimm. It's not perfect but you can see that they do try. For most driving in London is just plain stubernes. Or showing off that they can pay for it to drive in to London.

@annother3350 they still create a lot of noise do to the tires rolling on the road. often that noise is even with patrol cars the most noticeable part.
