  1. The thing is a lot of the employees at Youtube or Google it self don't even know them selves how the whole algorithm does work. If it is even just one algorithm. I won't be surprised if Google is using multiple systems with sup systems. like. in one video Youtube will use a system for the adds, a system to keep track what you are watching now and how far in the video you are, a system for the chat underneath it. the system that recommend other video's. and who knows what more and all those systems will be used to try to get one need picture.

Youtube does take in the like/dislike ratio. if a video get's a lot and a lot of ether likes or dislikes it will feature it. the aim for YouTube it to make you want to watch as much video's (ads) as possible. a video with strong dislikes can still a chief that function. In the end YouTube is a business that has to make money for it's mother company (Google and Alphabet)
