@louistournas120 according to Google it is klaxon in French. just like you said. in Dutch it's the same only the K is a C (Claxon and Claxonneren) Funny i thought that us using the C was from the French version.

I have a Sharp Carousel convection microwave. my parents bought it back in 1993 and now it's in my kitchen and it still works so good. I would hate if it would stop working some day. your version compared to mine is a modern version only I don't see the convection oven function on your version. (I might use it even more for it's oven function then the micro function)

@SeaJayMalm no no just ram it in with a hammer. no drill needed.

@doodlebug1820 at the end of the rainbow.

@licentiousdreams why would you carry the gold? Make that pesky chum do the work.

i actually never used them. by the time that storing data of any kind was interesting (2004 and on wards) the simple USB sticks also existed. sure in the beginning they where limited to a few MB but for homework where i sometimes needed them for that was enough. plus they where given away for free by schools and companies like they where just candy. during high school (2003 to 2008) that was all i needed. o and for watching movies I just used the school computers because school safety stuff where a bit to easy to get around.

pff Itunes Who would use that? I just gave my mothers pc aids while using LimeWire. I had every virus you could dream of.

Back at home my parents used a basic brewer bit would just poor it all over in to a separate flask. Or better they had two. My mother preferred a slight less strong coffee them my father does.
1
@timfischer I have seen similar things being used but just with the use of the water/ coffee pressure it self. Also worked with soups and what not. But it was massive. Like you use it when you go somewhere with a group.

There is even a 3rd reason for having them. on days with a heavy wind it can still force a door to close overpowering the wind.

maybe you are family but with a few generations between. you would need to go up your family tree for a common family and then go back down again. It's often that names where differently spelled even if they where the same. until relative recently even people changed the way the would spell it to how it suited them.

@ThomasGabrielsen hmm interesting. for us hydroelectric was not really a option. the gas was the most easy thing to use. especially with the Groningen gas fields.

They where most likely involved in setting the specification and guide lines they demand of the product to be sold under there name. A lot of stores in any type of product will both sell own brand and third party brand items. both might even be made at third party brands factories. both are set to there own specs.

@arienh4 I have to say the last Miele my mother had was in one bought in 2003. after that she had two Etna. I in my own home only have myself as a dishwasher.
1
@SebastianSpiess i now own a table top dishwasher and even on the short wash it does most work. the only thing it might have a bit of issue with are certain items that can act like glue or hydrophobic if not agitated with a brush or something. A good example can be tomato pastes. they can be pretty difficult for a dishwasher to remove as the stains might form a small dome that acts hydrophobic until you use something to break that film.

If you can only set them back by rolling them forwards 23,59 hours does that mean when you had to redo a small part you had to that multiple times? Or did you keep the clocks idle and only letting them move when needed?

tip for all: this painting stuff is something you can let your children do. It's not child labour if you make them think it's for Santa.
1
i do have to say. It annoys me that the switch on your rice cooker is slightly crooked.

there are reviews in every category. Some simple and basic some so deep they might try to uncover where the iron for the hammer got mined. the question is how far down a rabbit hole is enough?

funny seeing the older and newer model Sony E reader i my self feel my self more drawn to the older one with the buttons than the one with out. it feels more natural some how.

They could have used the laserdisc equipment for the larger size. I think that it was intended to be able to use laserdisc size CDROMS

@blink1821986 just a trickle

@dewiz9596 if they are always on 24/7 that will work. the bulb will keep it self warm enough to keep on going.
1
@DanielGonzalezL Sam does that on purpose. If you see his Wendover work or Extremities he is more serious and to the point.
1
i use a combi microwave oven for that same reason. that thing keeps on going. my parents bought it back in 1993 if not sooner. it's 2024 and it is still going strong.

if you have a radiator you can just place a container on top of the radiator with water. You don't even need a towel. the heat of the radiator will make the water in to vapor on it's own.

everything is simple until you dive in to it. Then you learn that there is a entire world build around said simple thing you can go in deeper and deeper and deeper. Just knowing that there is a door convention is enough to know there is always a rabbit hole.

@AM-os4ty in a lab if they want precision they will go for the Kelvin system if they need to be ISO precise. In every day here in the Netherlands we always use the Celsius system. That has been in use from the time Napoleon annexed the Netherlands in to France. That is also the main reason most of Europe got to adopt that system.
