  1. @Phillip Banes digital does not have to be better parse. High quality film or even more glass plate pictures taken with a quality camera can be of a higher quality then digital. Also it can be a deliberate act to force your self to be limited with how many pictures you can take. In such a way that you have to think about taking the picture.
