@christo930 for the bigger long hall trucks it could make it interesting to have a pentagraph on top of the cabin. and make it able to hook to cables above the road. in that way they don't even need to charge that much. they only need to use there batteries when disconnecting from that grid on the high way.

those are being tested on a big scale in in the Netherlands with busses. with those pantographs. in a way they function as a hybrid between a regular bus and a trolley bus. they are charging at the bigger bus stations and at certain places on the route.

@christo930 well you would start with just stretches of wired parts. like a rather straight part like a bridge. in a way it could help with the maintenance of said road. as the truck driving company would pay for the energy used. the energy provider has a incentive to maintain at least that part of the road well. and can use the revenue from the power fee. in return the truck driving companies also get back from it as the roads are better kept and they need less stops to power the batteries.
