here in the Netherlands its the opeside or rather it used to be. As natural gas was very cheap to pump up from our local gas fields. electric heating is only now starting to become a thing now that we want to stop using that gas. I am surprised that Norway that has the same gas supply (and even more) did not use it in that way.

@gorisenke even the power used for the LED and fan also create (some) heat. even if not it's main focus

@ThomasGabrielsen hmm interesting. for us hydroelectric was not really a option. the gas was the most easy thing to use. especially with the Groningen gas fields.
