  1. What puzzles me is what people are throwing away. I saw a bicycle being scooped into a dump truck, all sorts of solid wood furniture. Why throw that away? All of that stuff is still good. Hose it off, let it dry and viola! I can see tossing mattresses and rugs but not everything. I wonder if they threw their dishes and silverware away too?
