  1. A problem is that luring single young men to immigrate is easy. Offer them good paying jobs and they'll come. They'll see it as an adventure. Luring single young women is much harder. Women are much more dependent on their social network of family and friends. They are loathe to abandon all of that and plunge into the unknown, especially to basically become a brood mare. Not an inviting prospect.
