  6. A Troy ounce of gold is 31.1035 grams. If gold is $2700 then that works out to $86.81 per gram or about 618 yuan. 35 grams would be about $3038 or 21,630 yuan. But you're right, jewelry is the dumbest way to buy gold. Coins or bars are much cheaper per ounce.
