Is the CCP afraid of being attacked? What is this, 1850? The lines on the map are pretty well drawn and we are stuck with them. This clearly shows that it is not a defensive force, but an offensive one. China is going to be the aggressor. Do they not know that it's 2023 and countries don't go around invading each other? Well, except for Russia and China. Such an act results in the world turning its back on you and stopping trading. I can see why they would want a large domestic military to use against their own people. But just imagine all the money they are spending trying to get parity with the U.S. That could be spent finishing all the unfinished homes people are waiting on (and paying for) and that would reinstill confidence in the whole system, perking their whole economy up. What buffoons. OK, we get it, Xi has a small d*ck and wants to make up for it. Maybe he should buy a red Corvette or a monster truck instead. That's what we do in America.
